Last year at Hop in ‘t Slot Michael from Afterthought Brewing was present and that made it possible to make a very nice collab together. The ideas of both our breweries are very similar and we have translated that into this beer. An American style saison with a refreshing acidity. To really make the collab something of both breweries, Michael brought American Cascade hops, ginger and lemongrass from a local herb garden. We have introduced the angelica root from Kiemkracht 64 and cascade hops from Brabanthop. Clouded Reflection is fermented with our house culture and barrel aged for 7 months with the Afterthought house culture. Together this makes for the ultimate spring beer: refreshingly tart, lots of citrus notes and a spicy aftertaste.
